About Simon

The story behind my work.

For over 25 years, I worked in the high-pressure industries of TV and fashion. On the outside, I was coping. On the inside, it was a completely different story.

The turning point.

I arrived in London in the 1990s and landed a job at the BBC, a personal dream.

From the outside, I was thriving. Inside, I was struggling with self-doubt and an anxiety I couldn’t name or didn’t feel I was allowed to have. I found ways to manage it, but they were only temporary solutions.

Then a friend gave me the number of a coach who simply held space to acknowledge what was really going on.

For the first time, I felt able to tell the truth without having to make it look better. From there, change became possible.

Twenty years later

Supporting people through pivotal moments.

For two decades, I worked across the high-pressure industries of media and fashion, including as an agent at one of the world’s largest talent agencies.

Working closely with high-achieving people in the public eye taught me that what we see from the outside rarely tells the whole story.

The conversations I valued most were those around confidence, identity, change, and where to go from here.

Today, I bring that experience into my work with clients navigating transitions, anxiety, burnout, career change, or a growing sense that their current life no longer fits.

How I trained.

I completed an in-depth training at the Animas Centre for Coaching in London, specializing in transformative coaching. Rather than relying on rigid goal-setting, this approach draws on humanistic and psychological frameworks to coach the whole person—their mindset, relationships, and broader patterns.

I added Somatic Breathwork after experiencing its benefits firsthand and began slowly to introduce it into my sessions. Breathwork regulates the nervous system and accesses deeper emotional layers and intuitive insights. As the body holds much of the score and for some trauma, it seemed too limiting to just concentrate on the mind.

I now coach full time. Most of my clients are professionals navigating burnout, personal or career transitions, anxiety, or the quiet, lonely sorrow of a life that no longer seems to fit.

Beyond coaching

I live in North London, a home I share with my husband. I love cycling, meditating, traveling, art, and music. I am mad about coffee and sniffing out new brekkie places.

Outside of my practice, I also volunteer as a coach for young designers at Paul Smith’s Foundation, and with St Giles Trust, supporting disadvantaged youth.
